
Inmates in Miami-Dade lock-up were connected for a Father-Daughter Dance through a program called The program connects families all over the state of Florida, with approximately 50,000 children have a parent incarcerated.

Ruby is a mother of four girls, serving time for a home invasion to support her drug addiction. Her husband is committed to picking up the slack until she is released. It has taken a toll on them all, but in different ways, depending on their age and development. ABC News gets an inside look at this family as well as several others. About 80% of these mothers are there because of an addiction to drugs.
